The MCD Series
The MCD series are portable devices which you simply switch on, close the case lid, and in a minute, the terminal will become a waterproof WiFi hotspot for any devices within 100 meters (328 feet) range.
These devices all automatically connect with orbiting satellites, so there’s no need to adjust the MCD products’ position; as long as they have a clear view of the sky, you’ll have WiFi. The MCD series requires no training or software installation to run; they’re one-button auto-connect solutions that keep you connected far beyond cellular connectivity.
The MCD-4800 “The Football” leverages the Viasat geostationary satellite network, which makes for extremely stable connectivity. The MCD-MissionLINK uses Iridium’s Certus 700 service, delivering the fastest L-Band speeds available today – and it works well in motion as well as stationary.
