Low Power, Ruggedized Design
Compact, IP67 rated and built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the ST 6100 is ideal for use in extreme weather and industrial environments. Its robust construction ensures long-term durability and consistent performance.
The terminal is designed for low power consumption, making it suitable for applications where battery or solar power are the only options. It’s most often used in mobile applications, tracking heavy machinery, trucks, railroad cars, fishing vessels, mobile generators etc., but is also suitable for SCADA applications across the oil and gas and utilities sectors.
Tracking & IoT Capabilities
The ST 6100 supports a variety of input/output interfaces, allowing integration with a wide range of sensors and devices. Its built-in accelerometer and enhanced support for GPS navigation, combined with sensors and telematics alerts makes this a great all-rounder for all types of asset management.
Orbcomm ST-6100 leverages the Inmarsat IsatData Pro (IDP) satellite airtime service, which can deliver data payloads of up to 10 kB. Average latency is <15 seconds, and because it uses the L-Band radio frequency, it's highly reliable.
ST 6100 is fully programmable and comes with resources to support integration into diverse custom solutions. It provides development, testing, and production environments, along with comprehensive documentation, sample code, configurable device-level applications, and complimentary technical support.
